the lecturer hands us these art blogs every now and then, and they’re really useful. Tangents are pretty easy to fall for, too! which sucks ‘cuz then it’d look weird and you’d have to re-do some stuffs or worse, re-do the composition of the whole image.

@faitherinhicks tweeting a little pep talk for “older” aspiring artists/cartoonists (funny to call anyone in their late 20s “older” but that’s how it feels in comics and many other creative industries). That last tweet is important, you are not an athlete where typically your prime years are all but over by 30, if you’re consistently working on your art, you should only be improving with time and experience.

I’ve decided to stop hiding my work under a bushel, and am very pleased to share my new project with all of you. The update schedule will be a bit unpredictable, currently my focus is on quality over a clockwork schedule. I also plan to release it in ‘scenes’ so there won’t be single pages out of context.
